Who We Are

We are a vibrant community of dedicated teachers and employees and active students. Our story started in 2016 when the school was first open for the kindergarten stage only. We had then about 70 students, and over the past five years, Diwan has grown significantly that we have 1200 students this year.

The school premises extend over 21.000m2 that host four buildings—one administrative building and three educational ones. The fourth educational building—for the secondary stage—is under construction and will be ready to welcome our students next year (2022/2023).

Diwan boasts a range of educational and recreational facilities that include seven playgrounds (football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, etc.) in addition to the gymnastics hall and the green areas. Additionally, the school has a number of computer, phonics, and science labs designed and equipped to provide our students with memorable learning experiences.

A Message from the Principal

Dear Diwan Community,

With passion and a positive spirit, we welcome our students back to school after—hopefully—a long, relaxing summer break during which you were able to recharge and get ready for the new school year.

Our mission has remained the same; we are committed to providing our students with a life-changing learning experience that ensures their readiness to play a role in an ever-changing world.

As the new year begins, we understand that many students and parents have concerns about the new context. I can assure you that our staff has planned various activities and procedures to make students’ transition to the new grades as smooth as possible. In addition, we will continue focusing on the health and safety of both students and staff members. Cleaning, disinfection, and hygiene procedures will remain in place, with particular attention to high-touch surfaces and objects both inside and outside the classroom.

However, I cannot claim that this will be an easy task. Nonetheless, I believe it will be much easier when we work hand in hand with parents as partners in shaping their children’s future.

Before being a school principal, I’m a mother. I totally understand your concerns, so let us all work together to ensure a successful, stress-free school year. My door is open, and I welcome your questions or concerns at any time. But please take into consideration my endless commitments, so if your concern could be addressed by one of my team members, please get in touch with them directly.

I look forward to a great school year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Dalia Al-Imam
